Specimen 'Oddity No.03'
Solid oak body with ash block top. Sepele neck with rosewood fretboard. English oak head veneer.
Neck is b stock of good quality.
Short tenon joint in the style of acoustic guitar. Fretboard glued to body forms part of neck/body joint. Sepele block to rear provides further reinforcement.
5 fine stainless frets and fretless beyond.
Single p90 pickup and volume control. Good quality neutric jack and alpha pot. Unbranded pickup features ceramic magnet but maintains a strong warm sound.
Danish oil finish throughout with green acrylic frontage, mild paint loss throughout will develop further.
Aluminium tubing in stead of adjustable rod.
Built for fun.
