100% Cellulose Acetate Sheet Tortoise guitar pickguard material celluloid

Up for sale is a 100% Cellulose Acetate Tortoise Pickguard Sheet. It is gorgeous and of the highest quality. The 2nd and 3rd pictures show the two tortoise patterns, the left side is orange/Amber tortoise w/ black spots, the right is a new kind, yellowish w/ red spots. Let me know which one you want when ordering, #1 (orange/black) or #2 (yellowish/red)

The sheets are approximately 300mm x 250mm x 2.5mm (12” x 10” x .1”). Plenty big enough to cut at least a Strat pickguard or similar from it. 2.5mm (0.1”) is the perfect thickness for pickguards. Cellulose acetate is hard to get in sheets of this thickness - unless custom ordered in bulk quantity like this.

The beauty of cellulose acetate is the pattern is throughout the material, not just on top. So it has a 3 dimensional quality you won’t find in lesser material, such as PVC. You can see the translucency in the 2nd to last picture, where the sheet is held up in front of a light source. We use this for custom guitars, but it is also perfect for jewelry, pens, DIY projects, etc.

Obviously each sheet it slightly different due to slight, naturally occurring variations in the pattern/spots/speckling.
