Guyatone Tokyo sound company General Electric 1965 Sunburst

Here we have a super cool 1960s electric guitar in Sunburst finish made by Guyatone (Tokyo Sound Company) for the General Electric corporation. These guitars were made in Matsumoto Japan and the quality is pretty nice. Rocker switches activate the pickups and the guitar has the distinctive 60’s surf-rock tone you’d expect it to have. The action is good and the neck is straight. Everything works on the guitar and it is very easy to play. It also is very light weight- 5.57 lbs! This makes it a joy to strap on and you feel like you’re wearing silk underwear. Well, almost.
Aforementioned sunburst finish is quality and even the back of the neck has a sunburst on it. The headstock is black and all of the tuners work perfectly. The pickguard is aluminum and the fret markers are indeed pearloid
