About This Listing

Up for sale is an exceptionally cool and lightweight 1967 Fender Coronado II in the rare and stunning original Lake Placid Blue finish. The finish on this one has aged just right and has some greening to it which looks absolutely beautiful. The neck is dated to 1967. Overall this beauty is quite clean with some tasteful finish checking, a few dings and dents, and finish fading / spots of small discoloration. Playability wise the action is nice and it feels great all up and down the neck. Frets are in great shape for their age as well. The area right above the high E on the nut has been filled in. Tone wise the Coronado’s have a sound all their own and this one absolutely nails it. Nice low end and stunning midrange sparkle. Cool and rare! Comes with a non-original hardshell case (missing handle).
