Vintage 1960s (1969) Simms Watts Super 150 150w KT88 Guitar Valve Amplifier Head

These early Simms Watts heads are truly special. This particular amplifier I have never seen another of!! The Super 150 logo is usually Super 'PA' 150, and then the inputs are like no other. This was built around 1969 and has cap codes dating to the first quarter of 1969, along with serial number 2161. It is a beast of an amplifier and is in brilliant condition, complete with a whole matched set of 4x KT88s and 3x Brimar ECC83s! There have been very few internal changes to this, but absolutely nothing significant at all. The condition is excellent, with the only thing worth mentioning being is one of the missing handle ends. This is the best example you will find of this amplifier by far. You’ll not be disappointed. Please check out the in-depth pictures below as these form part of our description. This amplifier has been serviced to a playable & safe standard, by one of our leading amp techs. To find out more about what our service includes, please check out our terms and conditions before purchasing.

At The Music Locker we will do all we can for you to get the instrument you want. You’re more than welcome to come and have a play on this, coupled with one of our vintage guitars!
