This O'Hagan Nightwatch "Hedonist" was custom built for me in 1983 by master luthier George Yontz in Ferndale, Michigan. It features all of the great things O'Hagan guitars are noted for, including Dimarzio humbuckers, Shaller tuners, brass nut, and straight-thru neck. It also has a beautiful black cherry over gold base finish, coil taps, phase switch, and custom "Hedonist" graphic on the headstock. If you are wondering . . . Google it.
This beauty is in excellent condition and comes with a Gibson hardshell case.
I hate to let it go, but must thin the herd. You can own this custom piece of guitar history for the bargain price of CAD$895.
The Nightwatch was made between 1981 and 1983. It came with either a Les Paul type single cutaway or a double cutaway Les Paul Junior style body. It was the second O'Hagan design to be introduced and followed the 1979 Shark model. They were essentially handmade instruments made of maple and walnut and had neck-through construction. The Nightwatch was the most commercially successful O'Hagan model but there were still probably less than 2500 made in total. In 1983 the O'Hagan company ceased trading and no more guitars were made.
