Nashvilleguitarstore.com (NGS)

My name is Randy Lemaster . My wife and I own Nashvilleguitarstore.com. I’ve owned and played a lot of guitars over the past 55 years. That doesn’t make me an expert, but I do know what a quality guitar feels and sounds like. I do my best to buy quality guitars and sell them for a fair price. Buying a guitar on-line can be stressful, so please take a moment and read some of the NGS reviews and see what our customers have to say about our instruments and their buying experience. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this listing, or any other question you might have.

Product Description:

Originally designed by master-luthier John D’Angelico in 1959, the EX-59 is a classic archtop but equipped with P-90 pickups, ideal for the player who wants to exercise some attitude. Its 17" wide by 3" deep body and signature D’Angelico headstock come together to create excellent balance and playability. An exact replica of the original EX-59, this reissue keeps the ’59 flair, accentuated by the absence of a pickguard and complete with retro-vibe volume and tone knobs. Buttery but unafraid to bite, the EX-59 has been adopted by blues icon Robert Randolph as his guitar of choice. Includes hardshell case.

Condition:  This is a manufacturer's refurbished guitar. It is not a used guitar, nor is it a 2nd. It is a new guitar that the manufacturer sold to a distributor, and certified guitar technicians have thoroughly inspect and adjust the instrument to it's current playing condition. No repairs were made to this guitar. It was simply made ready to play. The guitar is in mint condition and looks, plays and sounds great. At the directions of the manufacturer, the back of the headstock was stamped USED and the original serial number has been replaced with a new one. The guitar pictured in this listing is the guitar that will be shipped when purchased.

About our set-ups:  We do our best to accurately describe the current set-up and playability of each guitar. However, due to temperature and humidity changes the guitar may experience while in transit, it's possible for the neck and body to slightly "adjust" along the way. After all, guitars are primarily wooden instruments that are highly susceptible to their environment. By the time you receive the guitar, un-box it and tune it up, you may find that it needs a slight adjustment to get it back to the set-up specs that we originally described in our listing. Please keep this in mind before purchasing.
