Cross breed an electric solid body guitar with a lap steel that has it's neck pitched at a 45 degree angle and you'll end up with something that looks like a Smith Melobar. Made in the early 1970's, this thing is the perfect mid ground for a lap steel player. Rocking a slick offset body, an Alembic single coil pickup, and a set up that feels surprisingly ergonomic when playing standing up makes for really interesting, inspiring instrument. Cosmetically it's in excellent shape with practically no real wear, and is included with the original hardshell case and tone bar.
