What's the deal with refurbished?
This instrument was either an overstock or was deemed by the factory to have an imperfection. It is not stamped used or 2ND, but has been given a new serial number by the manufacturer-authorized refurbisher. We pass along all available information from the refurbisher so you know exactly what you are getting! Check the description to see exactly what imperfection this instrument has, if any. These are like new with little or zero play wear!
Built to be played, and played hard. The active pickups deliver big lows and vibrant highs and can stand up to all the aggressive pops and slaps you want to throw at them. The 24 fret fingerboard is fast and smooth on a slim 5-piece maple/walnut neck, and the mahogany body has just the right contours for comfort and easy upper-fret access.
This particular bass has some cloudy or milky marks in the matte finish and one area on the rear edge of the body at the waist where there are some very faint scuff marks. We have included close-up photos of the imperfections. Aside from what we have described, this instrument is in mint condition.
How Does It Play?
We have given this bass a good pro setup to make sure it is ready! The neck is straight and the action is low up and down the whole fretboard. We have checked the electronics and hardware thoroughly to guarantee everything is in tiptop shape.
A new Guardian Cases hardshell case can be added to US orders for $75 or to international orders for $95.
