Up for consideration is an absolutely beautiful vintage, and extremely rare Ventura V-20 acoustic guitar in excellent shape, with a few dings consistent with a guitar that's 40 years old, but nothing major whatsoever. Cosmetically speaking, it's a solid 8/10...the action is low, the neck is straight, and it sounds incredible! These guitars, particularly the early to mid 70s Venturas were made in the famous Matsumoku factory, and are definitely the top of the line Martin copies of all the Japanese guitars. I have owned several old Martins, and these Matsumoku Venturas are right up there with them. The craftsmanship is top notch. The three piece back, abalone binding, the beautiful woods used on these guitars are second to none. It's hard to convey how incredible these guitars are in person. If this had the Martin name on the headstock it would be a 3k guitar, period. Most people are not familiar with these guitars, I have been collecting them for many years, and they are beautiful guitars! I have owned it for 24 years and I am the second owner. It's been well cared for and used for recording purposes in the time I have owned it. It even still has the made in Japan sticker on the back of the headstock! Beautiful guitar, that plays and sounds like a dream!
