Exceptional guitar in every way. Rare late 30's Euphonon 16" jumbo built by the Larson Brothers in Chicago. Originally built for Gene Colin, WLS radio regular with the Hoosier Sodbusters. Needs no work: Neck reset,refret,new bridge,saddle nut, cracks cleated. All work by Glaser's in Nashville. The pickguard, while following a Larson pattern, is not original and is covering some top wear. Plays like an electric guitar. Neck is very fast and modern . Sweet but powerful. Perfect low to high balance. Typical Larson "liveliness" ; an incredible recording instrument! Purchased in the 60's from Jon Lundberg in Berkeley. Original Hardshell Case in good condition. VERY rare sunburst back and sides of lovely maple. Guitars simply do not get any better than this. There is a black " stinger" on the back of the peghead. I doubt that it is original, but blacklighting shows nothing unusual.
