This is your chance to own a unique Zerberus-Guitars Chronos with real Banded Calcite stone top. (This specific variation of Banded Calcite also is called Onyx Fantastico Red Light) You hear right - this is no airbrush, photo-finish, plastic , fake-stone or other kind of coating! Is a real 0.2" Onyx Fantastico Red Light layed into a chambered Guarea Cedrata body. Because of the amazing and unique top I call this guitar "Jupiter ascending". :)
Believe it or not - the gemstone top offers some incredible sustain and character. It is not just a luxurious gimmick. Before you ask: Yeah, this is one of my heaviest guitars. My other stone top guitars usually are around 8lb, but I have added an extra layer of 3mm Aluminum underneath the stone top and so this one is 9.62lb. Still lighter than some usual solid body guitars but anyway one of my heaviest. I simply wanted to build a sustain-monster.
But don´t get fooled by the nice appeal - this Chronos can roar. I have installed a set of Kammerstein Z2 humbuckers.
Both pickups can be split into single coils seperately by push-pull-potentiometers. The potiknobs are my own design with Onyx Fantastico caps inlay. This guitar is amazing for Blues and Rock. It has a 25.5" scale and a 14" fretboard radius. The neck is made of Hard Maple with Ebony stripes and a Rosewood fretboard. The tuners are Wilkinson locking tuners and the nut is a GraphTech Black TUSQ nut. This Chronos "Jupiter ascending" comes inside an excellent Zerberus hard case and with certificate.

My name is Frank Scheucher.
In my custom shop in Germany I am building unique and individual electric guitars.
On my "gorgonized" series I use precious gemstone for the top of my instruments.

My inspiration is to break new ground by using new materials and designing guitars that are not just copies of already existing, successful models.
I always wanted my guitars to have their own character to people say: “Hey, this looks like a Zerberus” as soon as they see one of my guitars.
I very much respect the Vintage style guitars but I think that there must be room for innovation instead of imitation.
There are a lot of really talented and amazing luthiers out there whom I very much respect, but I always wanted to get off the beaten tracks.

My motto is 6 simple words: Be a voice – not an echo.
I am a one-man-workshop, and that means:
I don´t have millions of Dollars that I can use to push my guitars in the media.
I can´t afford to spend thousands $$ to hire famous guitar players just to play my guitars.
I don´t have the funds to promote my guitars with gigantic booths at each and every exhibition around the globe or on TV shows.
Most of my guitars sell thru word of mouth recommendations and that requires 100% satisfied and happy customers.
I am very proud of my guitars and for me it is very important to have happy and satisfied customers.
I take personal responsibility for the customer satisfaction and I am your contact for all concerns.   Frank Scheucher
