Another exciting model from the Eastwood Custom Shop Way Back Machine! The Eastwood TB-64 is part of the MRG Series and pays tribute to the rare vintage Teisco TB-64. This 6-string electric bass guitar features solid body construction with a distinctive “Monkey Grip” body cutout.  It has a 30" scale bolt-on maple neck, 21 frets, and a replica Teisco vintage-style tremolo system. Three great sounding single-coil pickups, each wired to an on/off switch, with Master Volume, Master Tone and a Rhythm/Solo switch provide great sounding and versatile tonal options.

The mid-sixties “dawn of rock music” era saw a flurry of cool and crazy Japanese guitar models arrive in American shops and catalog stores. Many of those instruments were produced by brands like Teisco, Norma and Kawai, and serve as inspiration for Eastwood’s MRG Series of electric guitars and basses. Wild curves, and a “more is better” attitude towards knobs, switches and pickups perfectly sums up the excitement of these 60s inspired guitars, newly re-imagined and upgraded for modern playability and functionality.
