About This Listing

Collings D1-MHVN. A custom square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought that is in line with Collings' tradition, extremely beautiful tonal clarity, depth and warmth enhanced by the custom option of a solid Honduran mahogany top.  Although its bass response makes this dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, it will also serve well for solo and/or fingerpicking type music styles. Another great custom addition to this already impressive instrument is the so called "vintage now" neck and bridge, which means it has an Ebony bridge with long vintage style saddle, 44.5mm (1 3/4") nut width and 57.15mm (2 1/4") string spacing. These custom options add just that extra touch to the appearance and sound of this instrument. Condition is near mint with minimal signs of use, it has 1 tiny ding on the back of the neck. Includes original hardshell case.
