The FLEA Microphones 249 Tube Microphone has all the same features as their 49, but features a different bottom connector, and is built to the B wiring standard of the U49. This B wiring has a more pronounced low end, giving you a thicker, slightly darker sound.

The FLEA Microphones 249 Tube Microphone is fitted with capsule F7 - their exact replica of legendary M7 capsule. Another important part is transformer which is also our exact replica of transformers used in M49 mics. The last important part of the electronical system of the microphone is its tube, triode, carefully selected for noise reduction.
