For sale is the deluxe edition of Recording the Beatles : The Studio Equipment and Techniques Used to Create Their Classic Albums, a book about The Beatles, EMI studios at Abbey Road, the studio personnel, gear, microphones, instruments, techniques, a detailed look at every piece of studio gear used', etc.. It is an amazing resource for Beatles mega fans and studio nerds, and has become extremely collectable since it was first published.
I bought mine new in 2006, directly from the publisher, and have seldom opened it. However (no one really mentions this) the cool looking red 'tape box' case that the book shipped in is too snug for the book to slip easily in and out, so I stored it out of the box basically from day one (and I will ship out of the box, as well, so you don't have to struggle with it). For that reason, though, there is some discoloration near the spine on the front and back of the dust jacket (basically where it stuck out on my bookcase). The actual cover is like new and the book shows almost no signs of wear. If not for the tape box and dust jacket, I would be listing as mint. Also includes a packet of bonus materials, which you can see in the stock photo included in this listing.
I just checked and this book lists anywhere from $600-1000. Since I obviously can't list it as mint or like new, I am listing below that at $500. Please ask any questions before buying. Thanks!
