Up for sale here is a 1992 Guild D50 rosewood dreadnought built in Westerly, Rhode Island. This guitar is in good condition with great action and easy play ability. The only negatives are minor cosmetic flaws. This guitar has been played a ton and has the sound quality to prove it. The overall tone is incredible. Great bass response and volume output when played with an aggressive attack. It is very easy to finger pick as well, and the individual note response is lovely all the way up the neck. The pickup works and sounded great when i tested it. The truss rod functions properly, the bridge is secure to the sound board, and there is still good saddle height on this one. I recently bought and sold a 1974 d50, and I compare the sound quality of this 1992 D50, to be just as good. The hours of playtime have been logged and this spruce top's sound board has been unlocked and broken in nicely. This particular one has a lovely set of figured rosewood sides that reminds me of the vintage Martin D28 Brazilians,  that are so highly desired. The Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back, are both very tight and straight grained.    Signs of use and ware are all over this guitar. Small dings, dents, and scratches throughout. Weather checking can be seen in the top. There is some light pick ware just below the pick guard. There is some fret ware in the cowboy chord, lower section, of the fret board. There are some binding cracks, and some peeling here and there. The plastic heel cap for the neck is missing. The case is in good condition and appears to be original with all latches and the handle working. The Gold Grovers work properly and also show signs of use.    This guitar model was not massed produced in the 90s. Only 182 were built in 1992, and production stopped for D50s by 1995. I guitar hunt daily for Guilds and I have not seen many late 80s to 90s D50s come up for sale. Here is your chance to own a fully broken in vintage dread, with nothing wrong with it but minor cosmetic flaws. No cracks, no breaks, no repairs. No neck issues or play ability issues. Just good honest use from someone who cared for it for many years, and probably played it daily. Now it's ready to serve it's next owner for decades to come.    Please message me with offers, and for any additional pictures or questions you may have. The only guitars i buy/sell/collect are Guild Acoustics. I currently have a great D55 listed for sale, and by next week, I will have a rare GF30 listed. I'm always looking to buy, so let me know what you have. All my listings will be posted in the usual online market places. I prefer Paypal deals privately. Thanks for looking.
