Have a 2014 Jim Root Signature (Slipknot) Jazzmaster. This is USA made from the first year theywere issued. Stock electronics, EMG 81/60 pickups and locking tuners. Has a new 9-volt battery, a vintage-style oven knob and a new set of D’Addario 11s installed.
Looks really cool, sounds awesome and plays amazingly.
Cosmetic notes (none that affect playability)—most of the finish on the body has been sanded off except for around the strap buttons, by the neck joint and a few spots on the back where stickers are/were. The body has a satin coat on it. This was all done before I got it, so I don’t have much more info on that. The high E string saddle spring is a replacement.
The neck is in fantastic condition. I am seriously really impressed with how great this guitar feels. Lots of fret life left too.
Including the original hardshell tweed case. The inside is in great shape, the outside is beat up from regular gig use and the two side latches are broken. Center still works.
Also including the standard fender knob, a lucky 13 speed-knob, a set of Dunlop strap-locks that I took off the guitar, and an additional set of DiMarzio strap locks (missing one screw) plus a wide strap for them.
Pricing it based as a player’s grade guitar since the finish has been taken off (not for a collector) but still as a USA signature series Fender. It plays and sounds as such.. All sales are final, so please ask any questions you may have before purchasing or making an offer. I can provide more specific photos upon request. Thanks for looking!
