BOP Cover Shock mount and Pop Filter for Lewitt studio mics, Audio-Technica, Neuman, etc shock-mount

This practically universal large diaphragm shock mount and pop filter from BOP Cover is ideal for voice-over sound studios, vocal and music recording studios, radio broadcasting and podcasting. It can be used in place of both the Lewitt LCT-40-SH and the LCT-50-SH and many other shock mounts.

The purpose of a shock mount is to provide maximum isolation from handling noise and vibrations as well as to prevent the unwanted movement of the microphone while recording. The purpose of the pop filter is to reduce plosives, wind interference and saliva spraying onto the mic. 

This particular shock mount allows for the angle of the microphone to be adjusted with a standard twist to tighten mechanism.

This aftermarket BOP Cover shock mount and detachable large pop filter will fit the vast majority of large studio microphones that have a stem like that of the microphone shown in the picture. The stem fits into the base of the shock mount and the screw piece tightens down on the stem. 

The screw piece can also be removed for those studio mics with a flange and thus requiring a screw-on shock mount. It also fits large diaphragm microphones with a long-stem screw-on base.

Examples of large diaphragm mics that this BOP Cover shockmount will fit include the AKG C414B/ULS (and all other C414 versions), Audio-Technica AT2020, AT2050, Blue Spark, CAD U37, MXL 550, 500, 4000, Lewitt LCT240-PRO, LCT440-PURE, LCT441, LCT-540-PURE, LCT640-TS, DGT450, DGT650, and just about every other large diaphragm mic Lewitt ever made, Neuman M149, M150, TLM193, TLM103, TLM127, Rode NT1, etc

This BOP Cover shock mount is larger than either the Lewitt LCT40-SH or LCT50-SH, so it can accommodate a larger variety of studio mics than either of those shock mounts. It has a large, robust pop filter that is far superior to the small pop filter made for the LCT441 and LCT440-series microphones, etc. Because the pop filter sits in front instead of wrapping around the mic, it, too, can accommodate a larger variety of other mics than, for example, the Lewitt LCT-50-PSX pop filter, which wraps around and is held in place by the mic.
