Here’s an amazing & rare Robin Medley guitar with a gorgeous gold sparkle finish. This thing plays like a dream. Super fast neck and perfect action. I just recently had it professionally setup and the frets leveled and dressed. I’m not sure of the exact year, but was told by the original seller it’s an ‘80s model. It has a killer sounding purple Seymour Duncan JBJ in the bridge and a JB in the neck. I’m not sure what the single coil is, but I think it’s the stock one and it’s output is a little weak.
There are a few cosmetic blemishes on the guitar, mainly just on the back of the horns and on the headstock, as shown in the photos. The neck and fretboard are pretty much perfect though and the top looks amazing as well. There appears to be an additional metal plate added under the locking nut, also shown in the pics. It doesn’t affect the play though.
The trem bar was missing when I bought this guitar and this is the best fitting one I could find. It’s not perfect, but it does the job. You just have to lower the fine tuning screws on the first few strings on the Floyd to put it on or take it off. I’m sure the proper bar could be located with a bit of work though.
This is a seriously badass and rare guitar and it really looks awesome in person. I do not have the original case, but it will come with one of the awesome Gator G-Transit-Electric gig bags that is in perfect condition and will be excellently packed for shipping.
