Seagull Artist Studio Burst 12 String 2007 Sunburst

This is a very hard to find 12 string Seagull Artist series guitar. It has a solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides. It has a very warm and full sound to it and the guitar has sounded better each year I’ve owned it. To my ears it sounds best, and plays easiest with Elixir 80/20’s on it. The burst on the body and headstock is stunning. Since I have owned this guitar it has been used only at home for writing and recording. As I’m not the original owner it sadly came to me with some scratches on the back, which appear to be from a belt buckle from my best guess. Nothing through the finish, but I do want to note that they are there. Also, there are a few small dings in the front, again not through the finish. I photographed the worst ding, I could not get the others to show up in a photo. I can supply additional images on request. I’m sad to let this go, but purchased a maple backed 12 string recently.

Amazing guitar, after owning it for years I just don’t play a 12 often enough. I was currently given the chance to buy a friends ‘76 Telecaster Thinline, and this is one of the things to go to make that purchase.

LR Baggs has pioneered the concept of combining an undersaddle transducer (Ribbon Transducer) with a revolutionary bridge plate transducer (iBeam).
