Fender Tone and Volume Control Foot Pedal in excellent condition. 100% original and in full working order. No repairs since it was purchased from the first owner. Serie number B11039. ( Can anyone date this pedal from it's serie number ? If so .. please let us know )
Probably from 1977, but could not see the CTS code on the pots without taking it apart. Maybe I'll get myself a little mirror ( as used by my dentist ... brrrr )
These pedals were produced from 1958 - 1984 and were later re-issued.

" The next step in this concept was the volume /tone pedal, which added a passive tone pot inside the pedal. Though DeArmond and Bigsby wee first to offer this design, the most popular example came from Fender. In this pedal, the volume was activated with the standard up-and-down motion, while the tone function required a side-to-side motion, forcing the player to do the Hokey Pokey to get the full effect. The volume/tone pedal replaced the straight volume pedal as the essential ingredient in the steel guitarist's arsenal. Of course, this foot-actuated manipulation of a tone circuit foreshadowed the invention of one of the most popular effects pedals of all time - the wah-wah ( or the yoy-yoy ... .... or the bow-wow .... by Schaller ) "
