Vintage 1960’s Dynacord Echocord S62a Tube Tape Echo Delay Preamp 110-240V TOP

This is my approx. 57 years old tube delay unit „Echocord Super 62a“ from Dynacord.. It’s an absolute classic machine, staffed with excellent vintage tube technology !

The Echocord features an in-built five channel mixer (3x instrument + 2x microphone) with one volume and one tone pots each The unit wokrs with 2x playback heads and 3x record heads..


The following functions are available:

Button on/off
Button Reverb on/off
Button Adagio (slow motor mode)
Button Presto (fast motor mode)
Button Echo1 (fast echo effect)
Button Echo2 (medium echo effect)
Button Echo3 (slow echo)
Button Reverb (all heads are active)
Reverb Intensity
Reverb-Feedback
Tone control (delay effect))


The buttons Echo1 to Echo 3 can also be pushed in combination. Furthermore you will find a plug for footswitch in order to switch the effect on/off and a plug for the echo  „remote-control“.



The sound of this wonderful Echocord is like a real vintage tape echo unit : Warmth, charme and analog character strength ! And don’t forget, you can use this unit as a fantastic tube preamp. I used it with an old Stratocaster and I’ve got a warm smooth overdrived tube sound, with and without an echo effect. 

Extreme bluesy tone !!!

The Dynacaord Echocord S62a works fine and is in excellent and clean condition. The old DIN plugs have been replaced by modern 6.3mm jacks.
