This #15 of the limited Edition
H555 30th Anniversary guitar is a gorgeous tribute to the Heritage Guitar
company's third full decade of being the greatest guitar manufacturer using
traditional building techniques, top shelf materials, and skills that produced
the world's most iconic instruments. The incredible curly maple top, back and
sides of this guitar are enhanced by its Antique Sunburst finish. In honor of
the gentleman who created the Heritage Guitar company, the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and
7th pearl fret inlays each bear their names, while frets 9 and 12 show the
company's home city, and years active; (Kalamazoo and 1985-2015,
respectively).
The Heritage H555 is a semi hollow body model for players wanting a versatile, light instrument with real vintage hollow body tones. The laminate top and back make it possible to crank up your amp for over-driven tones, while reducing hollow body feedback. From rich, mellow, jazzy tones, to biting blues and rock tones, this guitar does it all!
This guitar is fitted with Seymour Duncan's Seth Lover SH55 pickups in the neck and bridge postion. Thanks to Lover's input, the result was nothing short of but pure, iconic, instantly recognizable humbucker tone. True to vintage designs, the SH-55 pickups are not wax potted, and the tone sounds as close to a period PAF humbucker as any attempt to date.
Heritage Guitars are made entirely in Kalamazoo Michigan in the Original 225 Parsons Street Factory. It has achieved the status of one of the premiere guitar companies in the world. Heritage uses all the original machinery and tooling to make their guitars today.
Heritage Guitar has a history of going its own way. While other guitar manufacturers increasingly build their instruments in Mexico, Korea, China, Indonesia, and other places known for inexpensive labor, and in a market where computer-aided manufacturing is the norm and mass-produced instruments dominate, the team of craftsmen at Heritage do the exact opposite. By designing and building handcrafted, high-quality guitars from solid woods right here in the United States, Heritage is able to pay attention to those crucial details that define a great 6-string guitar.
