Ohana O'Nina Short Scale Soprano SK-08BL

Sopranissimo Laminate Willow - Blue

Ukulele / Uke

This is a beautiful Laminate Willow Short Scale Teenie Sopranisimo! They are SUPER CUTE! They come in really cool, vibrant colors. So you have the classic yellow-ish natural , Red, Green, and Blue laminate willow. I have one and it fits in my little canvas bag and goes everywhere with me!  The scale is small!  If a soprano is too small for you, this ukulele will be too small for you!  Really give it some thought before you order. I included a picture that shows the Soprano, Sopranino, and Sopranissimo scale so you can see how small it is compared to the Soprano. The teenie tiny scale is not for everyone, but if you have been hankering for a teenie ukulele that is still SUPER playable and for the size has a BIG sound!  Then this ukulele is for you!  I will post links to vids at the bottom!  With the stock strings this ukulele sounds best tuned to D.  So same chord shapes, but your uke will be 2 steps higher.  So A, D, F#, B! If you tune it lower, sometimes the 2nd string can be buzzy and the intonation is off.  So please keep in mind, like most short-scale ukes of this teenie tiny size, you want to tune it up!

Now, lets talk set-up!  With the short-scale the set up is very important!  VERY IMPORTANT!  And your sopranissimo will play slick if it comes from me.  Set up is ALWAYS included and drop-shipping is NEVER done!  (Warning:  Some other dealers drop ship, therefore you uke is not really set up.  But the one you see in the picture is the one you will get as proof that all ukuleles go through my hands and are indeed getting the set-up I am known for!)

It is tiny!  It can fit in your purse, in larger pockets, in backpacks!

It is great for travel or even for a every day knock around uke!  I bring mine everywhere!  It has been all around London, it has been all around Vegas, it gets thrown into the car all the time!

Mass produced ukuleles come with "factory settings". There is no time to set the uke up for the individual buyer. Often they err on the side of high-action (strings are high over the fretboard), unlevel frets, and buzzes go unnoticed because they have had no individual attention.  I take personal time with each uke I sell. All ukes get a nut and saddle adjustment, and the frets are leveled. They are also checked for fret buzzes, intonation problems, and other issues that can be resolved in the set-up process. The action is lowered to an ideal and comfortable level. You can feel the difference between a non-set up uke and a uke that has been through the "Mim Set Up Process". I have repeat customers world-wide because I have worked hard to have the reputation that a uke from Mim is going to be "right".   The set-up process can cost a lot through your local luthier and often they do not know the specifics that go into a good uke set-up. I only sell ukueles, so my set-ups are custom tailored to your uke, the brand of uke you purchase, and the uke size. There are so many nuances to ukulele setup that are very uke specific. And I have been selling setup ukuleles for over 7 years! If you need a uke set-up Low G, or Lefty, let me know. I can do that for you... no charge! If you have an issue with arthritis of if this purchase is for a child or beginner player, let me know so I can be even more meticulous with the set up of the nut! It is really important. I set up the uke for YOU the buyer and ukulele player!
