OCTO CORE PROCESSING

The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 OCTO Core is equipped with eight powerful SHARC processors for unparalleled processing power. Run massive mixing sessions with dozens of active plug-ins without breaking a sweat. For even more processing power, the UAD-2 Satellite can also be integrated alongside UAD-2 PCIe DSP Accelerator cards and Thunderbolt-equipped Apollo interfaces, including Apollo Twin, DUO, QUAD, and 16.

UAD-2 Satellite is backwards compatible, for quick and easy connection to devices with Thunderbolt 1 and Thunderbolt 2 ports. With a compact, durable chassis that fits neatly in gig bags and carry-ons, UAD-2 Satellite makes it easy to take your UAD plug-ins “on the road.”

ANALOG CLASSICS

The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt 3 OCTO Core includes the Analog Classics Plus bundle, which features 13 versatile plug-ins to get you started, including emulations of legendary analog models, as well as UA’s Precision Series and RealVerb Pro Plug-ins.

Choose from classic preamps like theUA 610-B Tube Preamp or the sleek, modern sound of UAD’s Precision Channel Strip. Fine-tune your tone with the timeless Pultec MEQ-5 Midrange Equalizer and EQP-1A Program Equalizer. Dial in the perfect dynamics with an array of classic compressors, including various iterations of the 1176, LA-2A and Fairchild 660.
