This is an AWESOME Selmer Super Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone. In my opinion, the Super Balanced Action is the best tenor Selmer ever made. To me, they just sound sweeter than the Mark VIs, but they still have the keywork that made Selmer famous. The late great John Coltrane played an SBA for some of his most influential recordings. This one is a terrific instrument. The lacquer is original, and about 50% remaining with wear from use. American engraving is gorgeous and deep. Pads are oldish but feel good and this horn should play well as is. You've always wanted to sound like 'Trane, so get an SBA and head to the practice room! It all starts here.
