The G&L Tribute Fallout has the groovy, offset-waist body shape reminiscent of the Fender Jaguar or Jazzmaster but decidedly curlier and more compact. With a combination of a P-90 at the neck and a G&L humbucker at the bridge, this is a very flexible, smooth instrument that is comfortable in a lot of situations. Its hardware allows it to be clear and direct without getting too far into the brash metallic territory of some single coil setups.
G&L's Tribute series is a great import line that doesn't compromise on the quality of hardware or playability just because they're not made in the US; that's why we like 'em! We also really like the Sonic Blue finish on this guitar, and we feel that you should know that Maple Leaf Music does, in fact, condone the playing of surfer rock on particularly suited instruments such as this one.
