The seller is a college teacher in Delaware, not a commercial dealer or reseller. His items for sale are personal items that were purchased new in boxes and never subjected to showroom display. They are in immaculate condition with no scratches or other signs of wear. The reasons for the pristine quality are:
- Adherence to a finger-picking style of guitar playing without strumming or use of picks that can scratch
- All guitars have never been played outside of the home
- All guitars have been kept in hardshell cases with humidity control (Humidipak)
