About This Listing

Not suitable for Hofner Icon, Ignition or Contemporary Series Basses.

H61/74B Genuine Hofner Strip Tuners for Hofner V62 Basses, Complete Set (also used on some German made Hofner Cavern reissues)
- Complete set of two strip tuners and four bushings.

Many have asked about installing these tuners on a Hofner V63 or V64 bass. The answer to this question will require some careful measuring on your V63 or V64 bass. Compare your measurements to those that follow: The axles on the Hofner H61/74 strip tuners are spaced 1 55/64" (a little less than 1 7/8") from shaft center to shaft center. The tuner shaft diameter is slightly under ¼" (~15/64") and the outer diameter of the tuner bushings is ~3/8." Also note that the screw mounting positions on these strip tuners are different than the individual tuners installed on V63 and V64 basses. This will require that new mounting holes be drilled if attempting an installation on a Hofner V63 or V64 headstock.

Hofner H61/074B strip tuners do not fit the Hofner Icon, Ignition or Contemporary Beatle Basses. The bushing (bearing) size is not the same as on the Chinese basses.

Due to ongoing issues with lost packages and failed deliveries, North Coast Music is currently not accepting orders destined for delivery in Italy or Mexico, no exceptions.
