Oberheim OB-XA 8 Voice in very nice shape and fully functional

Up for sale is a great condition OB-XA that is fully functional and sounds amazing. It has 120 programs, a fresh backup battery and factory patches are installed. Tuning is stable and auto tune passes all 8 voices. It's been serviced with a rebuilt power supply, new key bushings, polished key contacts, and the voice cards had fresh capacitors and tuning calibration pots installed. The power supply is rebuild more robust than stock so you can operate the synth safely and cooler over a long duration. It's voices are panned so that every other one comes out of each side for a stereo panning fun but can be adjusted via trim pots on the voice card boards. That being said, the OBXA is a special type of synth that needs the right owner, one who's not a stranger to vintage synths and their insides. You'll probably need to get inside every now and then for some tweaking as the seasons change or when you move the synth around so if you're afraid of the inside of vintage synths, the OBXa is just not for you and I recommend you try the new ob6.
