This guitar was custom built for me in 1985. It features a European Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, a 66cm scale length, Gilbert tuners, as well as K&K electronics. It has been maintained by luthier Jeffrey Elliott and is in pristine condition. It plays like a dream and has a warm and richly balanced sound. In 2011 the starting price for a new Hachez guitar was $10,000.
