The Parallaxe M160 is one ultra mean shred machine and its carbon black matte finish lets everybody know it! Featuring a double-cutaway, asymmetrical body with a Duncan Designed HB-101 in the neck position and Duncan Designed Distortion HB-103 for the bridge along with a simple 1 volume – 1 push/pull (coil-tap) tone and 3-way selector switch for the electronics outlay, the variance of the heavy and aggressive tonal ranges is endless.  

A full 2 octave, 25.5″ scale Ovangkol fingerboard combined with the sonic characteristics of its basswood body and hard rock maple neck make for a sharp and crisp note to note articulation; a fierce pairing with the D.D. Distortions. Adorned in black hardware, including a hardtail six-saddle bridge and string-through-body design for added sustain, the new Washburn Parallaxe M160 is not only awesome to look at an extremely fast-playing, it’s a true monster of an axe suitable for the most demanding of shred players.
