Heres a cool one!

Up for sale is a 1982-1984 Guild X-702 in an aged white (non factory) finish.

This is a rare and unique looking 1980's Guild Bass that comes equipped with a ton of character. As noted above, the bass was refinished at some point in white, which has aged to a nice cream color.

The bass has its share of scrapes and dings, but it is structurally sound and plays great. The strap button on the upper horn is a replacement, and there is one screw on the truss rod cover that is missing.

There has been a recent fret leveling and dressing done to the bass. The Truss rod works as it should and moves freely in both directions. There is a fair amount of nice checking going on with the finish.

No cracks or breaks.

Bass ships with a nice non-original 1960s Guild Hardshell Case. The case has a little extra room inside. A piece of foam should be able to do the trick if you’d like to make it more snug.

The base will be packed securely inside the case.

Construction:

- Mahagony body, set neck design.
- 1.625" nut
- Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets
- 2 Guild DP-8 single coil pickups
- 2 volume and 1 tone controls
- 3-way pickup selector switch
- Guild BT-4 bridge
- Guild-branded Schaller 2+2 tuning machines
