*This guitar is the result of a design idea i had in my head so i built myself this prototype, it is completely hand crafted and has been played for video demos so it might have blems, flaws, imperfections, dings, dents, polish swirl marks etc. and being a Prototype some build details are still being adjusted and figured out However it plays Amazing!!!
Example-
some of the Pickup poles are slightly out of alignment with the strings, it does not affect the sound.
Also during fabrication there is a little bit of dried glue on the scalloped edge of the fingerboard where it meets the body, i know these things are not such a huge deal but i just always want to be upfront that all the quirks on prototypes may not be worked out yet,
that’s why it’s reffered to as a prototype.
The neck has a nice profile, not a huge neck more like the C shaped Explorer necks, Super comfortable w/a slightly faster taper closer to the nut.
This guitar has an additional mini on/off toggle switch that controls the middle pickup, this allows you to add the middle pickup into any combination mix of the other two pickups.
The finish on this guitar is what we refer to as a "Velvet Glove" finish, it is similar to a fine satin finish, basically the clearcoat is wetsanded ultrafine but not buffed out on the buffer. This makes for a baby soft feel on the finish.
Many hours were put into this build, it's unique body design
makes playing a pleasure, the sound great too!
The neckthrough design with it's unique step carved/routed top which thins the outer wings a bit more and lightens the overall guitar without having to chamber it makes it feel and look very different in a Great way.
Along with the two-way trussrod i built this neckthrough with quartersawn Black Limba and recessed and epoxied
2-carbon fiber rods into the neck on each side of the trussrod, this is how i build all my necks.
