Frets: Stainless steel, Jumbo
Scale Length: 25.5" - 26.25" (seven string) and 25.5" - 26.15" (six string)
Body thickness: 45mm
Neck Dimensions: 17mm constant D
Bridge: Floyd Rose Pro
Locking Nut: Ormsby Custom
Machineheads: Ormsby
Electronics: Volume, 3 way selector switch (blade style), momentary kill switch
Pickups: EMG 85 + EMG 707 (seven string), and EMG 85 + 81 (six string)
Finish: Gloss to body and headstock face. Satin neck.
Extras: Hardcase, Certificate of Authenticity (signed by Perry Ormsby and Rusty Cooley) included.
NOTE: We've made some minor changes to the original prototype released at Winter NAMM, 2019. In the interest of transparency, here they are:
1. The end of the fretboard, past the 27th fret, has been reduced to bring the pickup closer to the last fret.
2. The bridge pickup has been moved towards the bridge a few mm. Changes 1+2 give a slightly wider tonal range.
3. The locking nut has been revised and improved from the original groundbreaking design. The screw mounts have been relocated, allowing a lower profile overall. And, furthermore, the finish will be black for this part rather than the polished brass of the prototype.
