This amp sounds massive! It’s an early 100w MK3 Sound City, with the original Partridge transformers and most of the original internal parts. Some things replaced do to age, but everything is high quality and sounds incredible. Recapped a few years ago. Reissue Mullard EL34’s have very few hours on them. The preamp tubes are all Chinese but sound good. Putting some NOS preamp tubes in it would probably sound even better but it doesn’t need it.
This amp has headroom for days and doesn’t really break up. It takes pedals like nothing else and actually sounds great with bass too!
