1972 Fender Vibrolux Reverb Chassis/Head

This is a working chassis from a 1972 Fender Vibrolux Reverb. The cabinet had been damaged so we salvaged the head and whatever other useable parts that we could. The head is in working condition, powers and lights up and actually sounds really good plugged into our 1968 Bandmaster cabinet! It's the prototypical Vibrolux tone. Thick and warm sounding with that trademark Fender bell like chime and sparkle. This amp absolutely kills with a Strat or a Tele! The head will ship with it's original reverb tank and bag. The amp's chassis number is A24622, placing it in 1972 range. The transformers are a bit difficult to read due to age, corrosion and fossilized dielectric grease but here are what the numbers appear to read;

Choke-022707, 606-123, Output transformer- 022848 606-3x17,  Power transformer- 022723, 606-1-13

Once again, these are bit difficult to read but the date range seems to put the transformers in 1971. The tubes are a mixture of Sylvania, Phillips and Raytheons. One preamp tube is not old stock. This would be an easy project if you have an unused cabinet of build a vintage Fender amp with a custom cabinet and speaker arrangement of you choosing!
