This classic 1976 Gibson G3 bass features a sleek defretted fingerboard (aka Jaco Pastorius method) and nylon-coated strings. Such a joy to play. The video is not me, nor is it a G3. Just meant to show how fun playing a defretted bass can be.
This bass is in very impressive shape for its age. The body has some belt rash, and some blemishes. The neck back has some smoothing, probably from all that fretless sliding.
The electronics sound very nice. The pots are stock. And it is properly shielded to eliminate 60-cycle hum that is present with single coils (always check this for G3s).
Comes with non-stock hard shell case (medium condition, but the ebony bass looks quite nice in the plush black lining).
