Crafted in Chicago most likely in the in the 1950’s this vintage small bodied acoustic archtop features a classic American design and vibe. Slightly chunky neck but a little smaller than the baseball bat ones usually found on guitars like this.
Not too many of these Marvel brand guitars have survived and this one has held up nicely with all the original parts, just some minor dings and blemishes and a little paint chipping. Checking as you would expect on a guitar of it’s age and evidence of the top being glued back down in spots. Top is perfectly stable and not moving. This guitar is only being listed as good due to this, usually these guitars are just about destroyed, if you can find them, not the case with this one. It has a good amount of life left in it and would make a great addition to the collection of anyone who loves vintage Chicago made guitar.
Padded gig bag included with purchase.
