For sale is a 20” Murat Diril cymbal, handmade and hand-hammered in Turkey. “Mosaic” series, which means it’s very lightly lathed, heavily hammered and has a “patina” finish applied to it, which makes the deep hammer marks darker than the rest of the cymbal. The sound is darker and drier than a traditional cymbal, but not as dark as an unlathed “Turk”-style cymbal.
Thin weight: 1620 grams.
It’s marked a crash, but also works as a light jazz ride.
