Fostex RM 780 Reference Monitor System 1980's

On pair of Fostex RM 780 8" coaxial monitor speakers. These use the Fostex  coaxial drivers which have a 8" driver with a coaxially mounted metal tweeter. They are a ported design with a front port. There are two controls on the front face. One is the 2 pi to 4 pi switch which adjusts the crossover output depending on how close they are to a rear wall. The other is for the high frequency output that adjusts from -12 to +2 dB. They come with the removable grills. The top of the enclosures have factory holes for wall or ceiling mounting that was popular in studio applications. They are in good cosmetic condition but have some scratches and dings I have photographed the worst of it. You can see the corners are a bit rough. But they work and sound great. Used them in the 80's for my home tape studio and then put them in a closet sometime in the 90's where they have been sitting ever since. I have additional photos of each speaker available.
