Yeah, it's the only Fenix on Reverb. One of the most awesome tele copies to come through Foilchewer! You already know how wicked Young Chang Tele's are so take a peek at this one. Here's some of the features:
• Archtopped, four-piece figured body - unclear what woods are used • Schaller Piezo Bridge - each saddle is wired - Made in Germany (very rare for Fenix) • Independent On/Off switches for each pickup • Shadow EQ5 Dialable Humbucker (including modeling spec sheet) • Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Neck Pickup • Push/Pull Volume Pot to activate Shadow Pickup • Back knob controls the Piezo volume • New 9 volt battery • Bound neck • New Fender Strings (10s) • Vintage Hardshell Case - plenty of character and clean... appears to be original. • Massive lean-back headstock with sculpted tip • Beautiful Top Binding
The neck joint - front and back - is a work of art. The difference between Fenix and other copies of this era is definitely in the finishing details, woods and components.
All hardware is very clean for its age. We're thinking this is very early 90s or earlier. The case is vintage - clean inside but there is wear and it's real relic wear. One buckle is missing but included in the case compartment.
The action is low and the sound capabilities are nearly endless. Dedicated pickup On/Off switches allow you to change it up from Tele to Strat to LP to Piezo and then mix them all. There are no major dings or dents. Just look at the photos! There is some minor fretwear on the first three slow-hand frets but nothing that made us worry. The neck is straight with low action and a very easy to play medium C profile.
Trades are always welcome!
Note: Guitar Case compartment is filled with cool vintage accessories! Not telling!
