Gibson Custom Shop ’58 Eric Clapton/Extra Cut Explorer Electric Guitar

This is a 2001 limited release Gibson Custom Shop '58 Eric Clapton/Extra Cut Explorer. Designed after his modified '58 explorer, this guitar features a shorter lower horn, and a cut off bass bout making it a very different version of the explorer. This 2001 release was specifically for the Japanese market and coming across these is quite rare. Mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Gibson burstbucker pickups, bumblebee capacitors, chunky '58 neck, ABR-1 bridge and all gold hardware. This guitar is in great condition, no dents, dings or scratches on the body, frets are immaculate, the only thing keeping this from being absolutely mint are a few scratches on the gold pickup covers. Comes with all of the original hang tags, certificate of authenticity, warranty card, and the Original Hardshell case. Weight: 7.09 pounds.
