G&L USA Legacy HHS 2016 Jet Black

This USA G&L Legacy HSS is Leo Fender's next generation Stratocaster. Leo knew he could improve his previous design & improve it he did! The pickups are both warm & clear; Very natural sounding & not harsh at all. And of course the playability is first-rate. Practically everyone who plays a G&L becomes a fan for life & rarely goes back to 'regular' Fenders. This guitar is voiced very well and does a great job of both SRV and 'Country' style playing. And the bridge humbucker is powerful enough to rock, yet still retains great clarity.
This one is Jet Black and really captures that 'special color' vibe. The hard-rock maple neck with dark rosewood fingerboard is not clubby ('modern classic'), with a smooth satin finish that is fast & never sticky. The medium jumbo frets are just right to be big enough for bending, but not so large that playing out of tune is an issue.
