Now replaced by the American Original series, the AVRI models sat just below the Custom Shop in Fender’s lineup. Expect a classic ’60s-style maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a 7.25-inch radius, narrow frets… pure vintage! The alder body on this example is particularly beautiful, and it has recently been refretted, so it’s ready for another 30 years of playing.
