LS 8 Effects 8 Watt Combo Tube Amp 2015 Black/wood trim

Up for sale is my LS 8 tube combo amp. This amp is sort of an AC4 on steroids. It is powered by 2 EL84s, clocks in at about 8watts and it's voicing is straight out of 'Vox Land'. It has all Orange Drop/Mallory and Silver mica caps, Carling switches, Cliff/Switchcraft Jacks, and Mercury Magnetics Power and Output Transformers. Pretty much the best/most expensive parts money can buy, but it does make a difference you can hear. A unique feature of the LS 8 is that it doesn't use a phase inverter but rather uses 'phase inversion through common-cathode coupling', which creates more harmonics in the power amp section. The tone of this amp is absolutely amazing. The controls are very simple with just a volume and tone knob, but you can get both incredibly sweet clean tones as well as classic, harmonically rich tube driven overdrive. The amp also takes pedals extremely well. The speaker is an Eminence Legend GB128 which is Eminence's take on the Greenback but with a much better efficiency. It has seen mostly studio use and i am just thinning out the amp room. You can see some velcro where a reverb pedal used to live..i can leave it or take it off....this lil guy is great as a base pallet for tone. Simple and elegantly constructed...thx for looking!
