About This Listing

This is a vintage 1940's Electromuse lap steel guitar with Eye-Beam pickup that has been custom carved and painted with a sea shell theme.

Crafted in Chicago during the city's legendary era of guitar manufacturing, this model has been called the "Canoe Paddle" due to it's resemblance in design but this one has been modified to look much more pleasing. Lap steels always seem to have a pretty bland design to them, this one has been customized to look anything but. Tuners have been changed to Gibson Kluson Deluxe. The work was professionally done and looks stunningly beautiful. Plays and sounds phenomenal.

Condition is great, just a little aging on the metal plate and a few minor lines inside the top edge of the plexi glass fretboard, as seen in the pictures. It is being listed as very good due to the fact that it has been customized.

This is a vintage one of a kind instrument that is sure to turn heads.
