Dials and Controls
Your Velvet Fuzz pedal features three simple controls to dial in the amount of fuzz, distortion, or overdrive to fuel your signal. The volume control manages your signal's decibel level, and the brightness knob helps you control the bite or mellowness of your output. The fuzz knob acts like a gain control to dial in the amount of breakup you're looking for. These three simple controls allow for a wide span of tonal exploration that'll keep your ears hungry for more fuzz, performance after performance.

Voicing Switch: Go Big or Go Tight
In the middle of your Wampler Velvet Fuzz pedal is a toggle switch with two universal voicing settings: Big or Tight. When the toggle switch is flipped up in the Big position, your signal tends to have a beefier, spongier tonal contour, emphasizing those lower frequencies with plenty of compression for that classic saturated fuzz. When you flip this switch down into the Tight position, you get a more dynamic, less compressed effect with tube-amp-like distortion that lets your axe's tone come through more -- great for those times when you might want to roll back on the fuzz. This toggle switch gives this pedal twice as much tonal reach, resulting in more gig-worthy sounds.
