VINTAGE 1967 DOMINO SPARTAN 3 TONE SUNBURST MADE IN JAPAN MATSUMOKU UPGRADED FENDER N3 SINGLE COIL

1967 Domino Spartan in 3 tone sunburst. True vintage and Made in Japan in the early post dawn era of Japanese electric guitar making, by the well known Matsumoku factory.

The guitar obviously takes its queue from a Fender offset body style ala Jazzmaster or Jaguar. Ive owned this guitar for at least the last 15 years. It needed a lot of love when I got it. It took me years and lots of patience and funds to restore it and bring it to its current state.
Ash body with a rosewood fingerboard on maple neck. The original pick gaurd was cracked and warped beyond usefulness so I had a replacement cut with the same 3 ply white black white laminate like the original. There is a 5 way toggle that selects between the three Fender 'N3" noiseless single coils. Original vibrato bridge works well and has great tuning stability.
The guitar has great playability and low action. Original tuners work well and hold tune with no problems.

At age 52, the guitar has a few chips, some dings and scratches but mostly around the edges of the body versus the top and back.
